Is the CV builder free?
Yes, completely free. No sign-up or payment is needed, and the downloaded CV has no ads.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser. Your text and photo are never sent to any server, so nobody else can see them. They are kept there so you can continue your CV when you come back; the “Clear” button deletes them instantly.
How do I download my CV as a PDF?
Click “Download PDF”. The print window opens: under printer or destination, choose “Save as PDF” and confirm. The PDF is A4, named FirstName_LastName_CV.pdf, and is saved in your Downloads folder. Don’t choose “Microsoft Print to PDF”, as it saves the file to a different folder.
How can I continue my CV on another device?
Click “Save project” to download a file with your details. On the other device, open this page and click “Open project”. Projects are not stored online, so keep the file.
Can I change the template after filling in my details?
Yes, at any time. Changing the template, colour or font deletes nothing: your details and photo appear instantly in the new layout.
Do I have to add a photo and date of birth?
No, both are optional. Only your name is required. Fields you leave empty do not appear on the CV at all.
